The SHU Community Theatre presents The DooWop Project featuring stars of Broadway’s Jersey Boys, Motown: The Musical and A Bronx Tale. This evening of song traces the evolution of DooWop from the classic sound of five guys singing harmonies on a street corner to the biggest hits on the radio. The epic show showcases this exciting musical form from The Crests, The Belmonts and The Flamingos through Smokey Robinson, The Temptations and The Four Seasons to modern hits from Michael Jackson, Jason Mraz, Maroon 5 and Sam Smith.
